Terms of Service

Authect Academy (“Platform”) is a digital learning service owned and operated by AUTHECT - FZCO, a company registered under Trade License No. 70505 (IFZA), with its registered office at Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; material changes will be communicated via the Platform and your continued use constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may sign in with email/password or Google OAuth.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour, or are inactive for extended periods.

All course materials, videos, text, code, and supplementary resources published on the Platform are the intellectual property of Authect - FZCO or the respective instructor. Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the course content for personal educational purposes only.

You may not:

• Copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share any Platform content.
• Record, download, or scrape course materials without written consent.
• Use content for commercial training or resale purposes.

Certificates of completion are issued by Authect - FZCO upon successful completion of all lessons within a course. Certificates reflect course completion and are intended for personal and professional use. They do not represent formal academic accreditation, university credits, or government-recognised qualifications.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. By purchasing a course or mentoring package, you authorise us to charge the payment method provided via Stripe.

We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. All payment data is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase, provided you have completed less than 25 % of the course content. Refund eligibility is at our sole discretion. To request a refund, contact us via the Help page or email info@authect.com.

Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your payment provider.

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or download course content in bulk.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the Platform.
• Post abusive, defamatory, or misleading reviews or community content.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restricted areas.

All contents of the Platform (texts, images, logos, structure, design, source code, etc.) are the property of Authect - FZCO or are used under express licence. Reproduction, distribution, public communication, or any form of unauthorised exploitation is prohibited except with prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Authect - FZCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee the availability, continuity, or infallibility of the Platform. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, or security purposes.

Without prior written authorisation, it is forbidden to systematically extract or reuse content (web scraping, crawling, harvesting), use bots or scripts to access or collect information, or perform data mining for commercial purposes including AI model training.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
